Westin guests can take its ‘Heavenly bed home for Rs 1.99 lakhHyderabad, March 25:

“if you experience the ‘Heavenly bed’ that Westin Hotels, part of Starwood group, offers in its hospitality chain across the globe, you would love to own one at home. Globally, Westin has sold over 30,000 such beds, and we now offer them in India,” Mr Stephane Fabregoul, General Manager, Westin Hyderabad, says.

Westin chain, however, does not retail the product and only offers it to its hotel guests.

“since its launch in 1999, the bed that Westin chain offers has not only attracted customers to visit our properties again, but it has lured many of them to ask a familiar question while leaving the hotel: ‘can I have this set up at my home?’ This has triggered us to offer them to our customers and there is no looking back ever since,” he says.

Specially designed for Westin, the beds are sourced from Siemens in Europe. The ten-layered bed provides a high level of comfort and prompts guests to request one for their home, he says. “we go to their home and set it up and train the maid on how to make this special bed,” he says.

Priced at Rs 1.99 lakh, the bed comes with a mattress, two bed-sheets and pillows. Asked what differentiates it from the rest, he replies: “The best way is to try it and you won’t like to get out of it”. In India, the bed is reportedly available at all Westin properties, including Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai and Gurgaon.

I need to know what kind of color walls and pillows would match with these two pieces of furniture. I'm having a hard time to figure out what would go with a sorta of grape colored couch and a cream colored lounger, since I am moving and need ideas for my new living room.

NOTE: we are into a modern feeling, and find how our living room is a bit boring.
Thanks!

I love your furniture. I would paint the walls a sandy color, not too light. Behr sells one called "Arabian Nights" which is warm and rich. As for pillows, I would find stripes and florals with a bit of the reddish color in it and just mix and match them. Acccent with black iron lamps and vases. Sage green or celery may also look nice painted in this room, but I don't think that will be give you as much of a modern feeling that you want.

I know that dark colors make a room seem smaller, but it seems like a good sized room. so be careful of the shade, but a good green color…hunter or kelly type green, a warm modern shade. It will complement the purplish tones and balance the lighter cream color. As for the pillows…maybe some sort of patterned and assorted shapes to tie it all together…? Definately some good stuff hanging on the walls too…

I would go across the color wheel-maybe a light mustard or clay pot color would be nice. some geometric or stylized floral fabric would make great pillows. I think it would be a shame to not play on the mirror effect of the couch legs.

I am a Interior Decorator and your best bet is to go with a mediterranean theme. Use colors like the one on this pictureart.com/asp/sp-asp/_/PD–1012…
You need to add texture to your sofa try pillows like thesekohls.com/kohlsStore/shopbyro… andkohls.com/kohlsStore/shopbyro…
Go for the unexpected like a area rug like this westelm.com/online/store/Prod…
throw in a fan like this onehomedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stor… to tie it together. Use terracotta pots and prints to unite your look

1302588078 13 Rather morbid question for people who have been to Medical School?

Okay, I'm writing a murder mystery and one character who is sitting down on a wicker loveseat is stabbed from behind with an 8 inch carving knife in the lower back area, mentioned character has taken one sleeping pill and is mildly intoxicated as a consequence of sudden depression.
Character is a 76 year old healthy female, and doesn't scream etc to attract any attention for others to discover she is being murdered. Her pale corpse is found a short while later, still sitting in the loveseat. it isn't obvious that she is dead but she has been bleeding for a short while, a minute later the bloodflow is visible seeping through the covers and cushions. what area would the knife need to go stab (and what would it puncture on the way in) for a relatively quick death, with a bloodflow at this speed? Extra note:- Character has been dead for three minutes prior to discovery.
Thank you guys for helping me out ^.^

my dads a doctor and theres nothing really there that is vital, she would obviously die if it severed the spinal cord, the blade would no doubt hit her intestines and bowels, which would bleed alot but she would die from severed spinal cord.

Porch gliders are ideal for any porch. whether your prefer an Adirondack glider, metal gliders, vintage gliders, or an outdoor furniture glider; the soothing sway is relaxing and a great way to enjoy a good book, glass of wine, or just take in the view. Because they don’t need overhead support, gliders are easily moved to avoid wind or rain on your porch and offer additional seating on large porches. see our glider options below.

Porch Gliders

We’ve had several porch gliders over the years and find them to be both relaxing and ideal for porches, decks, and patios. For porches with limited space, gliders may be just the answer. Porch Gliders

Want time alone or have very minimal space? a chair glider my be your solution. Chair gliders have the benefit of regular gliders but with half the space. For those with mobility issues, a glider is somewhat safer than a porch swing. Whereas a porch swing has the tendency to float backwards when first seating, an outdoor furniture glider can only move a set distance. my mother and grandmother loved to sit on their porch glider every evening; it was one of their favorite places to watch the world go by. Gliders come in a variety of materials, finishes, and styles. You can find gliders in wood, resin, metal, wicker, recycled materials, and more. Glider styles range from Adirondack to mission, wicker, aspen, and more. Metal Porch Gliders

Add cushions and you’ll have a beautiful piece of outdoor furniture you can enjoy for years to come. When selecting a glider for your porch ensure you find a quality product that will hold up to not only the weather but constant use as well. Ensure the glider mechanism is well built – it’s the essence of a glider. If you are considering a wood glider (the most popular) you’ll need to maintain it over the years as you would any other wooden outdoor furniture.

Porch Gliders

Gliders are so popular you are sure to find one that fits your needs and decor. We’ve included a variety of glider options below to show you the many styles that are available. We’ve also included a glider plan so you can make your own if you are so inclined! Be sure to also see our porch swing ideas ; another great option for your porch, patio, or deck.

(More customer reviews)I’ve been using this pillow for about 3 weeks now. I’ve used several different types of memory foam pillows over the years. The ones I’m used to are thicker than this one so it took a little getting used to.
The foam is dense and supportive. it seems to take a little longer to get back to its original thickness than some of the other pillows I’ve used but it is very comfortable. I have been sleeping well with it. Just as well as my favorite pillow I’ve been using for a few years. I dont seem to fall asleep as quickly only because I’m not used to the thickness. once I fall asleep it’s a deep restful sleep. no tossing or turning and no neck stiffness when I get up in the morning.
If you are looking for a good supportive memory foam pillow but prefer pillows on the thinner side, this would be a good choice. If you prefer to have your head elevated more or are used to thicker pillows, this might not be the best choice for you.
Also of note, there was no odor at all when I opened the package. some memory foam pillows and mattress toppers I’ve used have needed a few days to air out. The material is a soft cotton like material. some pillows have a satin feel which can be annoying (in my opinion) because they slip out of the pillow cases. these don’t move around at all.
I’m very happy with it. Just wish it was slightly thicker.

Checkers Capitalize On PP, Down Phantoms, 5 2 :: SportsPageMagazine.com

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers scored four power-play goals and outshot the Adirondack Phantoms 40-19 for a 5-2 victory on Tuesday evening, sweeping the season series six games to none.

Zach Boychuk led the way with two goals and an assist while Chris Terry netted the game-winning tally late in the first period on the power play. Mike McKenzie also chipped in with his first AHL goal and Jacob Micflikier notched his 24th. Michal Jordan, who earned second-star honors, added two assists.

Michael Leighton, who helped the Philadelphia Flyers to the Stanley Cup Finals last season, made 35 saves in a losing effort for Adirondack.

McKenzie got the Checkers on the board first at 7:42 of the opening period. After digging the puck out of the right-wing corner, Brad Herauf got it to Cedric McNicoll, who slid a pass across the front of the crease to McKenzie for the one-timer.

The Phantoms answered back, minutes later, capitalizing on a bad break for the Checkers. Pogge attempted to play the puck on a dump in and the puck ricochet off of a stanchion to the stick of Bordson, who buried it into the empty net.

With 3:33 remaining in the first period, Charlotte took a 2-1 lead on Terry’s team-leading 29th goal of the season. while on the power play, Boychuk took a slap-shot from the point that Terry redirected through the five hole of Michael Leighton.

Boychuk extended the Checkers’ lead to 3-1 with another power-play goal with 4:04 left in the second period. Micflikier wristed a shot from the high slot that bounced through traffic and Boychuk drove home the rebound.

Just two minutes later, Micflikier jammed the puck through Leighton’s pads to make the Charlotte advantage 4-1.

Boychuk tacked on a late goal on a 5-on-3 power play and Testwuide replied for the Phantoms to make it 5-2 but it wasn’t enough as the Checkers won convincingly.

The Checkers (39-25-2-6) will go on the road to play Connecticut and Portland on Friday and Saturday before returning to Time Warner Cable Arena for a 5 p.m. meeting with the Norfolk Admirals on Sunday.

For every ‘like’ the Checkers get on their Facebook page between now and Apr. 1, the team will donate $2 to Zach Bennett and his family, who plan to move to Charlotte for better medical care and to be closer to the team. Visit gocheckers.com or head to facebook.com/charlottecheckers.

NOTES: The Checkers swept the six-game season series against Adirondack… The combined 123 PIM is the most in a Checkers game… Mike McKenzie’s first goal comes in his 17th career AHL game… Chris Terry has a goal in four of the last five games and ranks tied for fourth among active players in the AHL with 29 goals… Cedric McNicoll has seven points (2g, 5a) in seven AHL games this season.
