How can I get my outdoor cat adjusted to her heating pad?

Not sure what I could be doing wrong, it's chilly outside and I want to make sure my outdoor cat uses her new heating pad I got for her. I am not sure if you knows it's there. I am using clean towels to cover the pad> she is a older cat..actually I rescued her, we was homeless

I've got three outdoor kitties – and to expect one to actually use what we want them too – LOL… you might try catnip in the box (without the heating pad, don't want her paw pawing the electrical bits) and get her used to going there first.

I personally bring my kitties in when it is cold. The laundry room is a good place if you are worried about any damage, 2nd bathroom.
